Dave Dawson is Lynx Consulting Group's CEO. Dave is driven by a vision of providing significant tangible results to clients. His highest priority is doing right by the customer. He has created a company culture and environment focused on excellence and achievement. His 30 years’ experience includes business process modeling and reengineering, organizational change management and cultural adaptation, and asset and maintenance management. He has worked on both sides of the business consulting fence as client and consultant. He knows what customers are looking for and how consultants can deliver the best results. Dave provides the foundational leadership and motivation his people thrive on as they achieve for their clients.
Specific industry experience includes transportation, trucking, transit authorities, airports, airlines, refineries, oil and gas, national parks, city, state, and federal government, public utilities, and manufacturing. Early in his career Dave was a fleet manager at the largest hub of a nationwide carrier. Dave lives in the mountains of Colorado and enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends. He is an avid motorsport enthusiast.
Ian Vail is the VP of Professional Services. Ian has been implementing Maximo for the last 20 years. He has performed in the roles of business analyst, project manager and solution architect. He has been involved in some projects from start to finish and others he was assigned to midstream to rescue a faltering implementation. He knows what a successful implementation looks like and how to achieve it. He enjoys the challenge of solving both business and system problems. His greatest professional satisfaction comes from working with a team and getting the job done right.
Industry experience includes airports, education, home health care, civil engineering, oil and gas storage and transportation, gas utilities, transportation, military, and government agencies. Prior to consulting Ian served 8 years in the US Air Force working with space systems acquisition. Away from work he enjoys time with family and friends and working with his hands around the house or on one of his many older Audis.
Jeff Gallegos is a certified Maximo professional with more than 15 years of experience working with a wide variety of organizations in both the public and private sector. Jeff is a Principal Consultant and Vice President of Business Development at the Lynx Consulting Group, Inc. He has been devoted to opening the line of communication between clients, customers and businesses to get projects done. Specific industry experience includes utilities, manufacturing, transportation, oil and gas, and life science. Jeff is committed to delivering industry leading Maximo solutions that drive efficiencies and improve reliability for any organization. Jeff thrives in both the public and the private sector, partnering with companies to create long lasting relationships. Jeff has experience leading cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions to challenging requirements. His strongest skills include Project Management, Business Process Re-engineering, Functional and Technical Consulting and Solution Architecture. As an Idaho native, Jeff spends his time outside of work with his family on their farm training and riding horses, fishing and exploring the great outdoors.
Ben Howell is a Principal level Business Consultant with over 20 years of experience in asset management, business analysis, maintenance, and materials management. He has considerable experience conducting business process analysis and workshops, requirements and fit gap analysis, functional design, process design, training, and CMMS implementation. He has experience with multiple CMMS and EAM tools with an in-depth knowledge of IBM Maximo EAM including the Transportation, Life Sciences, Calibration and the Asset Configuration Manager (ACM) add-on products. Knowledgeable in rail/transportation, manufacturing, electrical and utility environments, he has proved himself a leader among his project peers and quickly established credibility within all levels of staff. He has significant experience at all levels of business transformation and EAM implementation projects from Project Manager to training the end user. His ability to analyze processes, understand and anticipate a client’s needs allows him to incorporate himself into virtually any client environment and develop expert level business knowledge rapidly.
